This is a traditionally constructed clubhouse comprising of function areas, changing rooms, kitchen and bar facilities and was undertaken using a Design and Build form of contract and part lottery funding. The contract included construction of a 200 space car park for the club
The project has been a springboard for Aylesford Rugby Club who have gone from strength to strength utilising the comprehensive facilities of this excellent clubhouse
This six bedroom New Build house was built in extensive grounds with a high standard of finishes. The building consisted of a waterproof concrete basement and extensive remodelling of the external landscape and installation of a swimming pool.

A large and complex championship clubhouse, part steel frame, part load bearing masonry, this new build project features an impressive cantilevered roof over the bar area.
Part of the building is, of necessity, sub-terranean in order to reduce it’s impact on the local landscape.

This £1.2M Design and Build development, completed in April 2010, was carried out for a special needs school and consisted of three new timber framed classroom blocks with extensive external works in the middle of the School campus.
In 2015 we returned to the school and negotiated the design & build of two further classrooms here, which were completed in 2016
The Architect was Shane Jell of Sub Rosa Architects on both projects.

This New Build project, designed by MKA Architects, was an individually designed house featuring many unusual architectural details.
This prestigious project won several design awards including the RIBA Downland Prize, The Kent Design Award Best Residential Scheme, Kent Design Award Overall Winner and was short listed for the National RIBA Awards.
This £7.4m project was commissioned by Benenden Girls School to promote excellence in the Sciences and consists of three floors housing teaching and preparation facilities for Biology, Physics and Chemistry, together with full height atrium and entrance area.
The building was designed by an award winning Architect and contains many interesting design features which focus on the use of oak joinery.

Logistically challenging site with limited access through a busy residential estate requiring close neighbourhood liaison with local residents and businesses during construction. Completed in 2013. £520k traditionally procured bespoke village hall for Godmersham and Crundale. Single storey building with a community hall featuring a high level profiled ceiling.

This was a purpose built industrial unit at Corbens Yard in Maidstone.
Constructed on a restricted site using mass concrete foundations, cavity brickwork, structural steel frame and composite cladding to roof and walls. This project involved the building of several industrial units over several phases owing to the operational requirements of the client’s estate and the restricted nature of the site
This project consisted of a 2000 square metre industrial unit which was then leased to the NHS.
The construction comprises of traditional mass concrete foundations, steel frame and cladding.
New sixth form centre. £1m project. New build single storey block. Strip foundations, pcc plank floors and traditional loadbearing walls.
A unique feature was the utilisation of a combination of Vierendeel trusses and Metsec lattice beams to give an economical structural solution for clear spans over the sixth form common areas.
Structural Engineers were CTP of Sevenoaks. Architects were ECE of Worthing.
Completed in 2014. Early Learning Centre for Granville School. Traditionally procured £980k project.
Logistically challenging project in the heart of the existing school requiring BBS to closely liaise with the staff and pupils with regard to delivery of materials and management of health and safety at all times. A new build 2 storey building . Traditionally built with cavity walls, SIPS panel roof with slate tile covering. The facility contained new classrooms, art rooms, WCs and eating areas for independent operation of the centre.

This project was carried out for a private developer and comprised of a three storey block of six flats and one new adjacent house. The contract value was £700k and it was completed in August 2014
A challenging foundation design to overcome the close proximity of adjacent properties and existing cellars, which formed part of the old pub previously on the site. the building was traditionally constructed with particular emphasis on sustainability including the use of photo voltaic panels on the pitch roof.

This was the most recent phase of several BBS Construction carried out at this independent school including previously a new £1.2m teaching block on the main entrance drive into the School. Owing to its prominence, it was required to be both striking and in keeping with the old manor house which sits behind.
